Hyderabad: By assuring job calendar and mega DSC to 30 lakh unemployed youth, the Congress party that formed the government has not issued a single recruitment notification but has dared to take credit for job notifications which were actually issued by the previous BRS government . , The Congress government only did the work of handing over appointment letters to the selected candidates.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, while addressing an event on Thursday to hand over appointment letters to those selected for posts in Gurukuls, claimed that his government has created 25,000 jobs within 70 days of assuming power.

The Congress’ claim of filling 25,000 vacancies, including 15,750 constable, 6,956 staff nurse and 441 Singareni posts and around 2,000 vacancies in various residential educational institutions, tells a different story. All these vacancies have been notified under the previous BRS government regime.

Keeping in mind the aspirations of unemployed youth and government job aspirants, former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao announced a major recruitment to fill 80,039 posts in various government departments. The government had released the notification for all the vacancies approved by the Finance Department.

The notified vacancies include 16,027 police constables, 7,094 staff nurses and 9,231 vacancies in various residential educational institutions.

The government not only released recruitment notifications regularly but also conducted examinations besides declaring preliminary and final keys and list of provisionally selected candidates. While the final written recruitment examination for police constables was conducted last year, the final result could not be declared due to a pending case in the High Court, which had recently directed the government to go ahead with the selection process.

Similarly, Telangana Residential Educational Institutions – Recruitment Board (TREI-RB) which is entrusted with the task of conducting recruitment in residential educational institutions also faced a court case, due to which the declaration of final results of various vacancies was delayed. . Similarly, Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board also conducted the examination and verified the certificates.

However, it could not announce the final selection list. Now, as soon as the High Court pronounced its orders in the cases, various recruitment agencies processed the results and announced the final selection list for various vacancies.
