Government Jobs 2024: Rajasthan Staff Selection Commission (RPSC) has invited applications for 300 vacant posts of Librarian Grade-2. The application process for this will start from 20th February. The last date of application is 20 March. One has to apply online on the online commission’s website rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. Selection for the post of Librarian will be through written examination. Commission will announce the exam date on its website after the application process.

The Commission has said that applications can also be made against vacant posts in short term sector. In respect of the architectural area of ​​absolute area and non-absolute area, you must fill your establishment order at the time of online application. Rest of them will not get the benefit of reserved area. Only the remnants of Rajasthan will get the benefit of the border area.

Qualification for Librarian Grade-2

To grab the Librarian Pad, one must be a Graduate of Science in Library. Those interested can also apply for final year. But they will get proof of appearing in the entrance exam from EMERStart qualification. Also, there should be a working college in Hindi in Devanagari script. Knowledge of Rajasthani culture is also necessary.

Pay scale after recruitment to the post of Librarian Grade-2 as per Pay Matrix Level L-11 (Grade Pay- Rs. 4200/-). Place to be determined at the time of probation.

Age Range

The age limit for Librarian Grade-2 post is 18 to 40 years. Youth belonging to senior category will get relaxation in maximum age limit as per rules. According to the notification, granite of rocky class, other pyramid class, border of extremely backward class and economically slope class of Rajasthan get relaxation of five years in upper age. Whereas women belonging to difficulty category will get a relaxation of 10 years. Whereas women belonging to general category get a relaxation of five years.

How will the selection be done?

Selection for the post of Librarian Grade-2 will be through written examination. The copy needs to be checked in scanning/moderation/normal scale.
