Amid the ongoing farmers’ protest at the Punjab-Haryana borders, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Rewari on Friday and said his government at the Center is working on schemes for the “benefit of farmers”.
The Prime Minister said the Center gave a “guarantee” to farmers to get loans from banks which they had earlier refused to give. He said, “We gave guarantee to farmers to Modi… Banks did not give them loans, but we gave guarantee to farmers.”
While addressing the public, PM Modi made several attacks on the previous Congress.

During his address in Rewari, Haryana, he reiterated “this time we will cross 400” while seeking public blessings for his third term for Bharat Nirman.
“If the G20 summit was successful, it was because of your blessings. India’s flag reached the moon where no one else could; This happened with your blessings. In the last 10 years, India has risen from 11th position to become the fifth largest economy in the world. In my third term, I need your blessings to make India the third largest economy in the world in the coming years..,” PM Modi said.
PM Modi’s visit to Haryana is considered important before the Lok Sabha elections to be held in April and May this year. His visit comes at a time when farmers from Punjab and Haryana are protesting at the state borders and have launched a ‘Chalo Delhi’ march to put pressure on the Center to meet their demands, which have received minimal support. Also includes demand to enforce price. (MSP).
Mention of the inauguration ceremony of Ram temple

Taking aim at the Congress’s decision to stay away from the Ram temple inauguration programme, the PM said, “The nation wished that a grand Ram temple should be built in Ayodhya, today the entire country is seeing Ramlala seated in the grand Ram temple.” . People of Congress, who considered Lord Ram imaginary, who never wanted Ram temple to be built, have also started raising slogans of Jai Siya Ram…”
Before his address, PM Modi inaugurated, dedicated to the nation and laid the foundation stone of several development projects worth over Rs 9750 crore in Rewari, Haryana.
